Toronto FC: Is There a World Where Lorenzo Insigne Have a Spot in Fraser's Plan?

Deportes Canada - Lorenzo Insigne Llegó en 2022 con un contrato de $15 millones al año por cuatro años garantizados sin opción de venta, solo por detrás de Messi en la MLS como el mejor pagado. Pero desde entonces, TFC ni ha olido los playoffs. Cambio de entrenadores, lesiones y, a sus 33 años, un nivel que ya no es el de antes.
Según Neil Davidson (Canadian Press), Robin Fraser no cuenta con él. Otras fuentes dicen que el club le puso tres opciones sobre la mesa: Venezia, Real Valladolid y Sivasspor. Insigne las rechazó todas.
El problema es que si no se va antes del 22 de febrero, Toronto FC pierde la oportunidad de usar ese dinero para reforzar el equipo. De momento, el único fichaje es Ola Brynhildsen, delantero noruego cedido por Midtjylland.

However, since his arrival, Toronto FC has failed to reach the playoffs. Injuries and coaching changes, including John Herdman’s departure, have left the 33-year-old far from his best form.
According to Neil Davidson of Canadian Press, new head coach Robin Fraser does not have Insigne in his plans. Other anonymous sources claim that TFC offered him moves to Venezia, Real Valladolid, and Sivasspor, but he turned them all down.
If Insigne doesn’t leave before February 22, Toronto FC will miss the chance to reinvest those funds in new signings. So far, the only reinforcement is Norwegian forward Ola Brynhildsen, on loan from Midtjylland.
