Alright, here’s the play-by-play of how it went down.

First, you must pre-register your interest, that’s how you get your FIFA ID, which is required to log in. After September 10 at 11:00 AM EST, I went to FIFA.com/tickets, logged in with my FIFA ID.

Once submitted, the next window was a 'spinning wheel of death" from the moment I jumped in the queue and sat there for about two hours. Pro tip: don’t touch that screen. I left my device plugged in, somewhere visible, just letting it charge.

After about two hours (time may vary), a 30-minute countdown popped up, and that’s when I knew it was game time. Once it hit zero, I finally got access to the form, basic info, plus your Visa card details. Hit submit, and boom, got the confirmation email: my entry’s locked.

I received an email confirmation right away at the email I pre-registered my interest with (FIFA ID email)

Now the waiting game. FIFA says:

Random draw happens end of September (results start rolling out Sept 29, 2025).

If you’re picked, you’ll get a time slot starting Oct 1 to log in and buy.

Remember—it’s still first come, first served. Being chosen doesn’t mean guaranteed tickets.

And if you don’t hit this round? Chill, there’ll be more public sales phases later.

The next page had a CAPTCHA to confirm I’m not a robot, entered the answer and submitted.

After I logged in, a pop-up appeared prompting me to click ‘Enter the Draw.’
